The Million Dollar Hotel Review
Mel Gibson has been in many classics over the years - Braveheart, Lethal Weapon, Mad Max - so I am curious to find out how he, along with the rest of the cast, got blackmailed into doing a movie like The Million Dollar Hotel.
From the first second I could tell the movie was going to be bad, and after half an hour, I couldn't stand it anymore. Watching Jeremy Davies hop around like an idiot (which he is in the movie) for half an hour was boring me to death, and listening to Gibson drone on as a cheesy FBI Agent was just as bad. I turned it off. Actually, I skipped ahead to a few random scenes, and then cut to the ending, where Tim Roth makes an appearance (oh, and Milla Jovovich and Jimmy Smits are also in the movie) as a figment of Davies' imagination or something like that.
I only watched a third of The Million Dollar Hotel, but I think I gave it enough of a chance to prove to me that this was one terrible movie. It is a mystery as to how all these big names ended up in a movie that Gibson himself considered terrible, according to him.
