The Game Review

Michael Douglas continues to astound, whether it be The American President or The Ghost and the Darkness. In The Game, he plays uptight millionaire Nicholas Van Orton and pulls off the job perfectly. The movie itself isn't anything to sneeze at either; The Game is a roller coaster ride of suspense, action, and plot twists. It is truly one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen, and I say that in a good way. The Game starts off with blurred clips of Douglas' father jumping from a building and besides that, it's hard to follow. As the movie continues on, however, the puzzle pieces begin to fit together and the plot becomes apparent. This is one of those back and forth kind of movies where first it's just a game, then it's real, than it's a game, and so on and so forth. I won't spoil the ending for you either but it's definitely a shocker! Seriously, you'll either love it or hate it; I'm in between. I don't know if it was the best or the worst ending they could have had but it worked out. I know you're wondering what happens but you're going to have to see it for yourself; it's an excellent thriller and I suggest it for everyone.
